You can ask me anything according to what I
am doing when I am asked. If I am cooking, it is o.k. I can cook and talk and
concentrate. If I am deeply engrossed in a book, then I am not so available for
studying answers with a great depth and you will only get a yes or no probably.
If I am writing a blog, particularly a daily prompt, then forget it. You will
be completely ignored.
Of course there are subjects which might
annoy me.
“What shall we buy for the week-end meals?”
No problem with the question, but if I have no idea, I prefer not to be asked.
I am sure the asker has a few brilliant ideas: I even hope that the asker has
some brilliant ideas.
One question that I have been asked many
times “Why did you go to Switzerland?” I never really knew what to say as an
answer and I don’t think I ever will. Perhaps I had restless legs, perhaps
London was not my town. I really do not know. I just did it and have never
regretted it. So do not bother with that one.
I know one thing, I definitely did not come
to Switzerland to enjoy their Winters.
It did occur to me that 'why did you move to Switzerland?' would probably be the question most asked.
ReplyDeleteI think your right Pat London is a restless City maybe it creates restless people, if it does then I know I am one of them as well;)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy hearing about your country :) I can see why that's a common question. :)
