Daily Feline Prompt: The Feline's Eye

Is there a painting or sculpture you’re drawn to? What does it say to you? Describe the experience. (Or, if art doesn’t speak to you, tell us why.)

Tabby relaxing

“Mrs. Human, don’t move, be quiet, I have to concentrate.”

“Do you have one of your creative moments Tabby?”

“All my moments are creative Mrs. Human, I might be having a creative sleep, enjoying a creative plate of hard vitamin pellets, or even a wonderful aromatic dish of tuna fish. Of course nature might call, and they are most creative moments. At the moment I am designing a picture for my Camas Cards.”

“Ok, I won’t ask about the creative moments in your recycling tray. You are painting?”

“Don’t be silly Mrs. Human, paint brushes are only for opposable thumbs and Leonardo da Gatto is still working on that, so we must be patient. In the meanwhile the Adobecat Photoshop have at last developed a programme for the paw.”

“I thought those programmes were very expensive for the pawpad.”

“Mrs. Human, when you have artistic talents, then mere money should never be in the way. It was not very expensive and they accepted your credit card with no problem. I am nearly finished now. I would have preferred a decoration with bird feathers, but that will not be developed until next year I read, so I had to make do with human things like berries and leaves.”

“Well it does look quite nice Tabby. Are you putting some words on it?”

“I thought “Wishing all my feline friends from near and far a nourishing Christmas, including Dusty, Mindy and Bear my canine friends.”

“You have canine friends?”

“Of course Mrs. Human, but no panic about rescuing me from their paws and claws, they live far away and we only communicate online.”

  1. Lol. Tabby looks like I feel, or is Tabby pretending to be Grinch today. I was Grinch all of last week and it hasn't really gone away yet. The silly season really is a bad thing for parents with young children and a lousy income even when both are working.
    Anyway:
Best wishes for now and a fantastic 2016. Huggles.

    1. Can't blame Tabby, I do not like Christmas and will be glad when it is all over. Thank goodness just three of us. I don't really do Christmas, Abolished presets a couple of years ago and we now just like to eat a good meal.
