What is the one thing that drives you to wake up in the morning and do whatever it is you do? Is it writing, family, friends, or something else entirely?
“When is morning Tabby?”
“No idea Fluffy, why?”
“Because it asks what makes us wake up in the morning.”
“Aha, do I wake up in the morning? I don’t know. All I know is that I sleep and when I am hungry I shuffle along to the food bowl, force some of those dry vitamin packed pellets down and then is time to go.”
“Funny question really Tabby. I don’t think it was meant for the superior feline species. We don’t do mornings, afternoons, evenings or nights. We sleep most of the time anyhow.”
“You know one of the feline ancients, Thomas Aquinas cat said “a failed hunting expedition for a mouse can be alleviated by a good sleep, a good lick and a slurp of fresh rainwater”.”
“Are you sure he said that Tabby.”
“It says so in my pawpad.”
“I wouldn’t believe everything in those pawpads, although I think that Tom Aquinas knew what he was talking about. Any feline with the second name meaning Water, knew where to find a good drop.”
“Exactly Fluffy, although we should sleep over it.”
“Good idea Tabby, I sleep over most things.”
“So do I, it is the solution to all our problems.”
“Although I think I will postpone my sleep until later.”
“Why?”
“I can hear the sound of the tin opener.”
“I suppose that would be it, our driving thing."
