Easter (or Christmas?)

So where shall I start. Of course on Green Thursday things were as I expected. I got to the supermarket at lunch time and thought a revolution was taking place. Not only were their armies of housewives attacking the shelves, but most had brought their husbands as well. Now I think it is a good idea to take a husband with you, but please not on the day before Easter. My Mr. Swiss is well trained and knows what is expected in a supermarket. Unfortunately the husbands in the supermarket yesterday were inexperienced, had never been trained, and every turning you took with the trolley a man was in the way standing as if ordered but not yet picked up. I was glad to leave and get back to work. Even then I was held up by the train which was crossing the barrier.

Deutsch: So, wo fangen wir an. Natürlich grüne Donnerstag war wie zu erwarten. Ich kam an am Supermarkt am Mittag und dachte das ein Revolution war in Gang. Nicht nur Hausfrauenarmeen stürmte die Waren Sortiment an, aber die meisten Frauen hat Ihre Ehemänner auch mitgenommen. Ich finde es schon ein gute Idee die Eheman mitzunehmen, aber bitte nicht am Tag bevor Ostern. Mein Herr Schweizer ist gut traniert und weiss wie man sich vehaltet in ein Supermarkt. Leider war die meisten Männer gestern unerfahren, war nicht traniert und jede Weg das man nahm mit der Einkaufswagen, war ein Man in Weg wie bestellt aber nicht abgeholt. Ich war froh die Supermarkt zu verlassen und wieder zurück in Büro. Sogar denn war ich aufgehalten von der Zug, der gerade die Barriere überquert.

Eventually the days work was done and I was able to go home earlier than usual. During the week the weather forecast had kept prophesying that it will snow at Easter, but as Thursday was still reasonable nice weather, you had the feeling that the weather men were just trying to prove they had a job to do.

Then the morning of Good Friday arrived. It was not good at all, more on the bad side. I was just thankful that I did not have to go shopping or leave the house at any given time during the day. The reason is plain to see on the following photos.

Deutsch: Endlich war die täglichen Arbeit erledigt und ich könnte zu Hause gehen etwas früher als sonst. Während der Woche die Wetterbericht hat immer vorhergesagt, dass es schneien wird am Ostern, aber Donnerstag war immer nocht einigermass schöne Wetter, und man hat das Gefühl das die Wettermänner wollte nur beweisen, dass sie ein Arbeit machen muss.

Denn kam der Karfreitagmorgen. Es war gar nicht so gut und war denkbar schlecht. Ich war nur dankbar dass ich muss nicht einkaufen gehen oder der Heim am irgendeine Zeit während des Tages verlassen muss. Der Grund sieht man in folgende Fotos.

These are photos I took of the back and front garden. In the meantime my cats made a few tries to take a walk but only managed a few paws in front of the windows and came back shaking their heads and growling. It is still snowing now in the middle of the afternoon and does not look like it will stop. So we now have a white Easter. Of course I could not resist making a small film, especially as we were also having gale force winds to go with it. Somewhere under the snow there are about 50 flowering daffodils and 50 flowering crocus. I am glad that I have not yet started planting for the Summer.

In spite of the weather, I wish everyone a happy, relaxing Easter. Perhaps where you live there are tropical sand storms blowing.

Deutsch: Die sind die Fotos ich machte in der Vorder- und Hintergarten. In der Zwischenzeit meine Katze versuchte ein Spaziergang zu machen aber es gelang nur ein paar Pfote vor der Ausgang zu machen. Sie kam zurück, kopfknickernd und fauchernd. Es schneit immer noch mitten in Nachmittag und schaut nicht aus als ob es hörte auf. So jetzt haben wir ein weissen Ostern. Natürlich könne ich nicht wiederstehen ein kleine Film zu machen, besonders weil, wir auch starke Winde auch haben dazu. Irgendwo unter der Schnee hat es etwa 50 blühende Osterglocken und 50 blühen Krokus. Ich bin froh ich habe noch nicht angefangen mit der Sommerbepfanzung.

Trotz der Wetter ich wünsche alle ein fröhliche, entspannende Ostern. Vielleicht wo Ihr wohnt gibt es am Moment ein tropische Sandsturm.
