Daily Feline Prompt: Singular Feline Sensation

If you could have a guarantee that one, specific feline was reading your blog, who would you want that person to be? Why? What do you want to say to them?

Fluffy, our blind Selkirk Rex cat

“Who reads our blog Tabby?”

“We have quite a fan club Fluffy. I know Dusty T. dog reads it, and sometimes even Roschti the feline next door has a look, but she only wants to know what we are having for food so that she can sneak in and help herself when we are not looking.”

“But Dusty T is a dog. He might chase us.”

“I don’t think so Fluffy. He lives in another country over a lot of water and we do not like water at least not the sort that they call ocean.”

“So you think we are safe.”

“Of course, and his human slave looks after him.”

“Do dogs have slaves, the same as we felines.”

“Sort of, although dogs do tend to do more obeying when the human gives them a command.”

“Oh, I see, like we take a message and think about it, although Mrs. Human never commands.”

“She does sometimes, but I never really listen. She gets all worked up when we go bird hunting, but she is a human. I get worked up as well when she doesn’t open the tin of tuna fish quick enough.”

“I think we will have to intensify our training programme.”

“Yes Fluffy, it  is written in the book of Bastet, chapter 3, verse 250 “the only good human slave is one that obeys without asking why or saying no”.

“We must be slipping up with our training programme Tabby. Perhaps we should sleep less and keep a closer eye on human developments.”

“On the other hand Fluffy, why waste time training humans, they are so slow to realise. Time is better spent sleeping.”

“True Tabby, you are so wise.”
