Great shot of the chestnut buds, Pat!! Ah yes, those still far-off days when their shade will provide respite from the late summer sun :-))Here is MY I&W ENTRY
Buds are my favorite to see.....it's very exciting to witness new lifeWonderful capture and words of promise!
If Mitch had not meetioned they were chestnut buds, I would have never guessed what they are... excellent shot... I like your words!
I am quite proud of my chestnut. I planted it from a large seed about ten years ago and now it is a mini tree. I keep it in a large pot, othrwise it would take over. I also cut it down every year. Still waiting for the first time that it flowers.
What a great picture to show that spring is here. Yes, waiting for the great shade it has to come.... :) I would like to see a follow up picture. :~) http://muzenews.ning.com/profiles/blogs/images-words-week-204-spring-flowers-shrubs?xg_source=activity
