No big deal, "When I'm 66" as Ringo Starr proclaimed in one of his hit records. There I am in my full grey haired shape sitting with my friend, the computer, outside on the porch.
Not wanting to sort of praise myself, but I cannot avoid it. On Facebook I got many congratulations, on Multiply it was more common as everyone knew, but big surprise. Google Chrome knew it was my birthday today. This is what I got when I logged in this morning.
Happy Birthday darling. I never saw a reminder on Facebook for your birthday? Must say you looks spiffy for 66, doll. Would never have guessed. Wishing you the loveliest day ever, sincerely hope Mr Swiss and the Felines are going to spoil you today

ReplyDeleteSorry to be picky, but I believe the Beatles song was actually "When I'm 64". But what's a couple of years between friends?? LOL.
Enjoy your special day! You may get a telegram from the queen on your hundredth birthday...(the president does that here in the USA)...
ReplyDeleteYour birthday passed. Hope it was a special day. Happy Belated Birthday.

ReplyDeleteBelated Happy Birthday. 1946 was a good year - just look at us! Mine's in three weeks!
ReplyDeleteOf course it was all the men were back home from the army. That was why we had such a baby boom in 1946.
ReplyDeleteMy father was serving in occupied Austria and married an Austrian!! After that is, he broke off the engagement to the nice Irish Catholic girl waiting for him in Liverpool. Instead he married the nice, Austrian Catholic girl!
