Daily Feline Prompt: Felines only drive you mad

Take the third line of the last song you heard, make it your post title, and write for a maximum of 15 minutes. GO!

“Tabby what are you listening to on your pawpad. It sounds terrible.”

“Mrs. Human I have to listen to that noise you call music all day on the radio and now I have at last found something suitable for feline ears. It is beatiful, it takes me away to fields of mice, trees full of birds and I can smell the aroma of the tuna fish in the dish. This music is wonderful and especially composed by feline scientists with felines in mind.”

“Sorry Tabby, but it seems quite monotonous to me, Just lots of purrs, meows and somewhere a clock ticking in the background and an aeroplane landing.”

“There you have it Mrs. Human, you have no music appreciation. I can sink into the feelings with this music. It is a revolution. It is not a clock, it is the merhodic sound of light scratches in a recycling tray, and the purrs are our inside feelings. The author, Dr. Charles Snowdon, who was once owned by a feline, said "Cats are not humans and humans are not cats and it is important that we humans, as the servants of cats, be aware of this difference.” This recording was top of the feline Hit list for at least 50 years.”

“Thank goodness it is now finished. No Tabby not again.”

“Of course, it is the essence of feline music taste. Mrs. Human where are you doing. Oh dear, she has inserted ear plugs in her ears.”
