Have you ever noticed that you are being
watched
A feeling that the woodwork is being notched
You can look to the left, or look to the right
Eyes following you, the future not bright
One on the table, ready to pounce
One in the kitchen taking a bounce
The third just looking to keep the coast clear
It is getting suspicious, but have no fear
They took over, sleaked in like the rats
You have to love them, my, sly, mysterious cats

I like the rhyming...I bet your cats keep you smiling!
ReplyDeleteI think the mystery and antics of a cat is what makes us love them.
ReplyDeleteCourse, as they age( like us) they slow down then they're content just to be loved on!
cute poem, Pat!
Well done. What are those cats up to next?
ReplyDeleteLove it, Pat. As per usual, your prompt is right on. Got to love those cats, mine is looking at me through one slitted eye, from the office chair, she commandeered this morning and will not vacate. I had to pull another chair in for me, yet again *sigh*
