Harmony touches the heart
It binds together
With no regrets
A melting pot of feelings
Sometimes the pot boils over
A harsh word
Kindling the fire
Forcing coals to spit sparks
But sparks have a short life
The fire never extinguishes
It remains a lifetime
It binds together
With no regrets
A melting pot of feelings
Sometimes the pot boils over
A harsh word
Kindling the fire
Forcing coals to spit sparks
But sparks have a short life
The fire never extinguishes
It remains a lifetime

It appears to me that harmony is both desirable and well expressed, from what I've read so far......another beautiful piece!

Beautifully written, and a perfect accompaniment to the wonderful photo of Protea flowers :-))
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitch. I took the photo in the local supermarket whilst waiting for Mr. swiss and I really did not know what they were called. Now I can complete my records in Flickr.

ReplyDeleteI dont know which is more beautiful .. your picture or your words ... a truly stunning entry!
ReplyDeleteIt's really good to know that the fire keeps on burning... excellent photo of those two exotic flowers! Love this entry!
ReplyDeleteI like the reference of the pot boiling over. I wonder if the opposite of harmonious might be discordant. In the case of the pot, discordance can be a good thing. The escaping water might put out the fire comletely or at least cool it down so the contents of the pot stay put.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful blend of picture and words
