Dear Patricia Gerber!
Multiply, Inc just sent you a full refund of $19.95 USD for your purchase.
It may take 3-5 business days to receive the refund in your PayPal account.
If you have any questions about this refund, please contact Multiply, Inc.
The refund amount will go to the card you paid with.

I just received this notice in a mail from Multiply. I had paid for a year, but the year decided to be a short one, as I got thrown out of Multiply. They did say they would refund any paid membership. On the other hand I left before the beginning of December and they promptly wrote that I was not entitled to any refunds. I just thought that's that and today Paypal have given me details that my money will be returned. No, it is not a scam, but official. I know Paypal too well and would never ever click on any suspicious mails.

So it looks like that in one way Multiply did keep their promise.

  1. Well, there's a surprise!! Perhaps they are trying to re-garner trust in the company, hoping you will make purchases from the marketplace that Multiply has become. I think the phrase I'm looking for is "no chance". LOL.

  2. I'd never thought I would see this. Wow. I didn't re-new my subscription in October so no refund for me, as I didn't want to take any chances. But this is a nice surprise for you :)
