Happy birthday to me

Me2

No big deal, "When I'm 66" as Ringo Starr proclaimed in one of his hit records. There I am in my full grey haired shape sitting with my friend, the computer, outside on the porch.

Not wanting to sort of praise myself, but I cannot avoid it. On Facebook I got many congratulations, on Multiply it was more common as everyone knew, but big surprise. Google Chrome knew it was my birthday today. This is what I got when I logged in this morning.

Google birthday

And when I did a click the words "Happy Birthday Pat" arrived on the screen, so what could be better. Wonder if the Queen will send me a telegramme.

  5. Yes, I used to rely on Multiply to remind me of birthdays of friends and contacts. I'm glad you told us, just so I can say.........HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT!!!!

Sorry to be picky, but I believe the Beatles song was actually "When I'm 64". But what's a couple of years between friends?? LOL.

  12. Of course it was all the men were back home from the army. That was why we had such a baby boom in 1946.

  13. My father was serving in occupied Austria and married an Austrian!! After that is, he broke off the engagement to the nice Irish Catholic girl waiting for him in Liverpool. Instead he married the nice, Austrian Catholic girl!
