MULTIPLY Wordsmiths Challenge #8 Being with Nature

wordsmiths

Swishing skirts of whispering grass
Strolling, feeling stalks tickling the skin
Memories of sun soaked days
Striding through meadows
Crickets chirping their invitations
To stay awhile in this luscious growth
A sanctuary of teaming life
Bare feet avoiding butterfly’s wings
Looking heavenwards seeking
the angels and cherubs watching
On such a glorious day as this
Time take a rest, stop the forwarding steps
Preserve such hours of Summer pleasure
And she walks on, absorbing without knowing
A lover waiting, thinks of him
Delights of the meadow slipping away,
only one thought, to lay in his arms
Being one with nature
In the summer of her youth
