My little world has begun to change
Foliage falling between wisps of grass
Some mushrooms poking their brown heads
Where there were once daisies
Swallows gathering in the sky
waving their wings, saying adieu
to the crows that are gathering and waiting
Butterfly appearances diminishing
and with them blossoming flowers
A tiredness, a fatigue, is overcoming life
It is time to sleep, to repose in the undergrowth
Nature is exhausted with her Summer work
Let her take five, her music now still
No longer bees humming, wings fluttering
Just a pregnant quiet over the land
Yes, Autumn is around the corner
