Daily Feline Prompt: In a Feline Crisis

Honestly evaluate the way you respond to crisis situations. Are you happy with the way you react?

Tabby and Fluffy

“Tabby, I have a problem.”

“Then deal with it Fluffy.”

“I thought you could help.”

“What’s help, ok it does exist in meow but only in emergencies. Do you have an emergency.”

“What’s an emergency Tabby?”

“Forget it Fluffy, that word obviously does not exist in your book of meow.”

“I am next to you outside with my lead attached to a pole.”

“Of course, you are blind and might wander off to the nearby mountains or fall into the river otherwise.”

“Ok, so without wanting to go into details of what blind is, I cannot go where I want to go because I am attached to a pole in the garden.”

“So stay where you are Fluffy, lay down on the nice warm tiles on the ground and sleep, or are you suffering from insomnia.”

“What’s insomnia.”

“Forget it, just close your eyes and take five.”

“Five what Tabby.”

“Fluffy, you nerve me. What is your problem.”

“I want to go indoors.”

“What is so interesting indoors.”

“Mrs. Human is preparing two dishes of tuna fish. Tabby, Tabby, where are you going?”

“Indoors of course.”

“Typical Tabby in a crisis situation she only thinks of herself. Oh look Mrs. Human is coming towards me with a bowl of tuna fish. Tabby, everything is OK, the problem is solved. No answer, just thinking of herself again.”
