Daily Feline Prompt: New Feline Internet Order

All the world’s felines have decided that the Internet itself needs a government. Your country asks you to run for Feline of the ‘Net — do you accept? If so, what will your platform be?

Nera, the computer cat

“I remember that prompt Tabby. It was when Nera was still amongst us and ordered what we should do.”

“I am still in charge Fluffy and Tabby.”

“Oh look Tabby, Nera is here.”

*Meow Nera, how are things in the world of ten lives?”

“Fine thanks Tabby. I thought I would pay a visit to see how you all are. Oh look on the computer, one of my favourite daily prompts. They don’t make them like that any more.”

“Oh yes they do Nera, they are all repeats. “

“Which shows how good I was at organising things here. Let’s read it through again for old times sake.”

“Fine, that’s OK with me and Fluffy, might get a laugh out of it.”

“I did not write prompts for a laugh Tabby, it is a serious thing. If I was not so transparent I would give you a paw swipe for that last remark. so here we go.”

“But Mrs. Human my best ideas arrive when I am dozing. Just think of the advantages. Felines all over the world will have access to buying their own tuna fish supplies, a diamond studied cat flap from Swarovski, and invites to Feline world in Orlando, Florida with our own feline Lear jet. Just a paw print on the screen, and it is already booked online.”

“In the meanwhile Nera we often order a few tins of tuna fish with our Pawcard on our pawpads. We do not have the diamond studied cat flap - yet - but we are working on it. It seems that access to the Swarovski site has been blocked for felines. They could not manufacture enough of the flaps to cope with the orders and many humans complained about what they cost.”

“Fine felines, so keep up the good work. I can hear Mrs. Human approaching. She gets all funny when she sees me floating around in the garden. I don’t think she believes in ghosts or even Bastet.”

“Bye Nera and tell Bastet to keep up the good work.”

  1. Definitely couldn't afford a diamond cat flap, the electronic one we have was expensive enough!

    1. Swarofski make the diamond ones, cost about £1,000, so I put my foot down. My cats have a magnet on their collar and that opens the flap, although we had to fix it that they cannot go out because Fluffy is blind.
