The day of school sports was almost nigh
But James was sad, and gave out a sigh
“You know you must win” said his father quite sly
“I will buy you a car so win and don’t cry”
But James was despairing, although he would try
The best runner in the class was Fred he could fly
James knew he was lost that was really no lie
But the sports teacher was wise and a very nice guy
He decided to help James, there was a reason why
A car from James’ father a promise would buy
On the day of the race James was given a pie
From the teacher, he ate it, and then got quite high
It was filled with strange leaves grown under the sky
James won the race, a very good try
The teacher and James have new cars oh my!
