A moment in time
Reflection in a mirror
My arms long gone
Where did I lose them?
Was it intended?
Poised and waiting
Perhaps he will see me
A long lost shadow of a lover
Sculptured to preserve my beauty
Please do not forget me
I was young, I was worshipped
I stand in this room
Watching the visitors pass bye
But he is long gone
I remain with my reflection in a mirror
of my youth and beauty
My bones may crumble
I may lay in my grave
But the memory remains
My reflection in the mirror
