Daily Feline Prompt: Pawed

What is your worst quality?

Tabby

“Just look at me. My beautiful eyes, one of my best portrait photos taken in a quiet relaxed meditative moment. I am the perfection in feline.”

“Tabby don’t you think you are overdoing it just a little.”

“I beg your pardon. This is the real perfect me.”

“Yes, taken in the bathroom where you were relaxing in front of Mrs. Human’s recycling bowl. Not exactly a positive place to be.”

“You don’t have to tell everyone. I am forced to retire to such places to escape the observance of the human species. Everywhere I go you produce this telephone camera. I am never safe.”

“But you must admit that you pose for most of the photos. Look at the innocent look in your eyes in this photo. I am sure that your feline friends on Pawbook would love to see it, even my friends on Facebook.”

“Don’t you dare Mrs. Human, I would be the laughing stock of the Creative Cat Club. They would probably expel me from the group.”

“What is that, Tabby?”

“The CCC (as we are known in the inner circle of members)? It is a group formed by felines with a certain level of intelligence. To qualify you should be able to know at least three various bird species together with their food quality. Of course, the subscription is a mouse tail.”

“Sounds a bit morbid.”

“Not at all. My name has even been submitted to become one of the high felines in our group.”

“Where did you get your mouse tail as a subscription? I have never seen a dead mouse here.”

“I took it from Roschti, the neighbour’s feline, when he wasn’t looking.”

“But that is cheating Tabby.”

“I know. Rule No. 3 of the CCC, take what you can, do not ask, asking is degrading for a feline. And now it is time for my daily reward Mrs. Human. Perhaps you could garnish my tuna fish with a sprig of tarragon.”

“Since when do felines eat tarragon?”

“We don’t, but it will look good on the photo you will take.”
