The Unexpected Expected Christmas Present from the Swiss Government

Remember all the hours spent filling out painstaking forms for the Swiss Government, delving into my records I did not even know still existed. Three weeks ago I became 64 and the shadow of my State pension, known as AHV in Switzerland, became nearer. Today the letter arrived in the post informing me that I will now actually be receiving a Swiss State pension with all the trimmings.

There are not many trimmings actually, but I am now officially an old age pensioner/senior citizen according to Swiss Law.
